Service ending early Wednesday 11/25

Service will be ending early on Wednesday, 11/25, due to the holiday:

 

- Last JC Westside: 5:00 PM

- Last UDC Shuttle: 4:45 PM

- Last Residential Shuttle: 5:15 PM

- Last Oakdale Mall Shuttle: 4:00 PM

- Last Town Square Mall Shuttle: 4:30 PM

 

There will be no service until Monday, 11/30, when we will resume with our regular schedule.

Due to constantly changing detours on Main Street, it is sometimes difficult to determine which stops may or may not be accessible at any given point in time. As soon as we find out about a detour, it will be posted to our Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/occt). Please consult it before you plan to ride the bus. End of Summer Service This Friday

Service for this Summer ends on Friday August 7th with our regularly scheduled runs. Service will begin again on Friday August 28th with a limited schedule, and Monday August 31st with our full Fall schedule.

The ITC van will still be in operation during the recess.

 

Bus Loop Closures Morning of 7/25

Due to road work on the morning of Saturday 7/25, the bus loops at the Old Union, Dickinson, and Mohawk will be inaccessible until approximately 12:00 PM. During this time, all buses will be departing from the Susquehanna bus shelter in Lot M so please plan accordingly. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact the Public Relations Coordinator with any questions or concerns.
 

Holiday Schedule This Weekend

Due to Rosh Hashanah, we will be running on a holiday schedule this Saturday and Sunday. As a result, there will be no Late Nite service this Friday and Saturday. Please consult the Holiday Schedule in the Schedules section of this website for further details.
 

Fall 2009 Service Begins

OCCT service will begin this Friday with our Welcome Back Weekend schedule, and next Monday with our full Fall 2009 schedule. Both are available in the Downloads section of this website.

 Changes for this semester include the following:

  • The JC Westside now runs every 20 minutes (instead of 30) from 7am-12pm, and 6pm-9pm on weekdays: This should eliminate a lot of the crowding that we have had in the past.
  • UDC shuttles now begin at 7:15am (instead of 7:30): This will allow those who live in University Plaza to get to campus earlier.
  • The Main Campus Shuttle (our blue van) will run from 8am-6pm on weekdays, servicing the ITC and both gyms. It will leave from the taxi staging area across from the Engineering Building. The ITC Van is no longer on-call.
  • The Southside Main now follows the same route as the Leroy Southside but in reverse. As it no longer services Vestal Ave, passengers should instead take the BC Transit #5.
  • The Riviera Ridge will run on the hour from 8am-10am, in addition to evening service as usual.
  • The Riviera Ridge/Town Square Mall no longer services Campus Plaza. Passengers should instead take the BC Transit #47.
  • Oakdale Mall service has been extended on Fridays: the last bus will leave campus at 8pm.

 

In addition, our office is in the process of being moved. Our new office will be UU154, across from the Susquehanna Room and Campus Mail Services.

 

 

Wine Tour this Saturday!!

Thats right!! This Saturday OCCT is running a wine tour. We will be visiting a couple of wineries along the Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased in the OCCT office. Participants must be 21 years of age or older with proof of age.
 

Bus Loop Closed Morning of Friday 7/17

Due to road work on the Brain, our buses will be unable to leave from their usual locations at the Union, Mohawk, and Dickinson on the morning of Friday 7/17. As a result, all buses will be loading and unloading at the bus shelter in the M lot (by our stop on the Campus Shuttle). The work is only supposed to last until noon. Please let us know if you have any questions.
